• Mayor Gigi Ugulava and heads of three government-friendly national banks review loan applications for new businesses on a weekly reality show called Employ and Be Employed.
• The city's projected 2012 budget is missing several key bits of information - the budget for whole programs was left blank, which a city councilwoman calls "corruptive."
• At the unveiling of a Ronald Reagan statue, President Saakashvili took a jab at his northern neighbor, saying the statue highlighted Georgia's affinity for democracy.
