Seoul's Muted Election Day
News of North Korea's rocket launch has overshadowed the Parliamentary election in Seoul, South Korea. But that didn't stop campaigning in the highly contested race. Posters are still hanging all over the city, like the fliers over the Chunggye stream. Conservatives managed to hang onto power, and leader Park Geun-hye vowed to “create a new South Korea.”
