Montana Horses' Last Cowboys

Montana Horses' Last Cowboys

Every year, wranglers transport Mantle Ranch's horses from their winter range to Mantle Ranch. The trip, 35 miles, takes place up a train rail line outside Three Forks, Montana. The ranch will close this year, and the horses will be picked up by leasers to be used as pack and trail horses at dude ranches and national parks.
