It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's an Old Communist Bunker?

Look closely at the plane hidden underneath the bush. It may look like a scene out of some Lost knock-off, but it's actually the entrance to a secret cave that once served as headquarters for former Chinese Communist military leader Lin Biao. According to Reuters:

Marshal Lin Biao used the cave as his military headquarters in 1968 shortly before he died when his plane crashed in Mongolia following what appeared to be a failed coup to oust Chairman Mao. He was shortly after his death officially condemned as a traitor by the Communist Party of China.

Located outside Beijing, the cave still houses old sandbags, artillery shells and land mines. Here are more photos by Reuters photographer David Gray.
