London, 1918 Versus Today

Visit the historic sites of London as they looked after WWI in this rare travel footage from the Prelinger Archive. This is just an excerpt from the longer film, which is available in its entirety here, where some commenters speculate that the film includes footage from 1918 as well. For an eye-opening contrast, check out the stunning aerial footage below, shot by London-based photographer Jason Hawkes leading up to the 2012 Olympics.
