Bus Stop of the Day: Beethoven Duets in an English Station
What a pleasant way to wait for the bus.
Artist Anton Hecht and pianist Andy Jackson set up a baby grand at a bus station in Newcastle upon Tyne, in the Northeast of England. While Jackson plays the bulk of Ludwig van Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, commuters are encouraged to supply those crucial high notes of the melody. Most of them do not look like accomplished pianists, but they seem pretty thrilled to be involved in making beautiful music.
