From New York filmmaker Anthony Sherin comes this eerie, beautiful timelapse of what transpires in the 24 hours after an upright piano is abandoned on the street. The introduction from Sherin's website reads:

On a cold winter morning, a lone piano stands curbside in New York City. Passersby slow, stop, and play. Some play well. All day long they collect and disperse, and into the night they measure and shove and deliberate. What if…? Can we take it? Who abandons a piano?

There's been some debate about how viewers should take the ending. Without spoiling the surprise, is it heartbreak, bad timing, or a responsible community taking care of business?
