Meet Thor, the Mexican Superhero Street Artist Who Rides Public Transit
It's tough work being a superhero. But it might be even more difficult to work as a superhero impersonator. Street artist Ruben Oviedo would know. The 40-year-old Mexico City native has been "working" as Thor in downtown Mexico City for the last year.
Oviedo has a background in television and theater performance. According to Reuters:
A street artist in Mexico City earns about 40 dollars a day for around eight hours of work. The street artists in Mexico City are requesting the police to allow them to conduct their street performances, public dialogue and exhibit various artwork in public places.
