Today in Extreme Sports: Unicycling Down the Swiss Alps

When two-wheels and flat ground are not thrilling enough, there’s always the unicycle...and the Swiss Alps?

Lutz Eichoz and Stephanie Dietz, two veterans of alpine terrain unicycling, recently beat their previous records by riding down the Mettelhorn mountain in the Swiss Alps. That’s 3,406 meters, all the way down through steep gravel fields and slippery trails on a glacier — paths hardly even traveled by visitors on foot.

Some things are meant for watching on Youtube.
