Just in Time for Halloween: An Abandoned 'Zombie Car' Strangled by Thorny Ivy

Last week, mysterious and bewitching images of an abandoned car in Sichuan, China, began circulating online. Smothered in thick and thorny ivy, it was dubbed a "zombie car" by Chinese social media users.

As "zombie car" found new life online, police were quickly alerted. According to NBC News, the car was abandoned sometime in 2012. Police used the license plate number to track down the car's original owner. He told them he sold the vehicle three years ago and remembers nothing about the buyer. Spooky.
