Beirut's 'Big Dance'
The "Big Dance," part of the British Council's "Connecting Classrooms" initiative, took over Parliament Square in Beirut earlier today. More than 2,250 local students participated in the 5 minute dance, which was organized to encourage personal fitness. Last year’s event included 22 schools and 1,300 students.
The main mission of "Connecting Classrooms" is to develop links between schools in Britain and Lebanon.
