May Day Around the World

It's been a quiet winter for the Occupy movement. But protestors from New York to San Francisco launched their spring offensive today. May Day has traditionally been a time for workers to celebrate and organize; this year passionate rallies were held well beyond America. Havana, Beirut, Macau and other major cities partook in the world's labor holiday.  

Below, Reuters provides us with glimpses of the rallies around the world:
