This Is Your City on War

Syria's Aleppo was once a hot spot for tourists -  the ancient city hosts a handful of UNESCO world heritage sites, like a citadel from the 12th century. But the protracted struggle has turned the city's winding streets into a war zone. Below, scenes from around the city.
