Terrifying Images From California's Latest Wildfires

Wildfires are spreading quickly across Ventura County, California. Already, 10,000 acres of the area around Los Angeles have been torched -- and that's just since the fire started Thursday morning.

Fire fighters have been working diligently, but it looks like the flames are still less than 10 percent contained.

 According to The Atlantic Wire:

There have been no casualties reported, but 15 homes have been damaged, including several motorhomes that were destroyed, and many more are in danger. Over 1,000 firefighters have been called into deal with the blaze, which is being fed by years of dead vegetation and deep undergrowth. One fire chief told The Los Angeles Times that the area hasn't seen a major fire in 20 years, which means there's plenty of forest lying around to burn.
